Anyone cruised with Royal Carribean to Bahamas using Chinese passport ?
Do you need to get a visa from Bahamas ?
Will the embarkment with Royal Carribean has issues ?

Not need, But you will neet to have multipe entry visa to the USA to come back

Do they check visa when you get off CoCo cay the Royal Carribean private island?

We took a friend to the similar cruise trip, who has a Chinese passport and was on an F-1 visa for students.

It took him longer than us to clear immigration status when leaving from Miami port, probably because we had US passports while he is on F-1.

Nobody checked his passport/visa during the trip, including all the islands you mentioned in your posting.

He did not have any issue to come to the US either.

A friend of ours took their parents, who are Chinese passport holders with B-2 visas. They did not have any issues either.

As far as you have a visa to re-enter the US, you are fine.

The official web site of bahamas changed their policy to require visa starting Sept. 2011. Did your friends go to Bahamas after Sept. 2011?

Thank you for the info on visa requirement changes. We went our trip before Sept 2011.

My parents went on a cruise to Bahamas in 2010 with us. Hey held Chinese passports with multi-entry US visa. We did not have any problems. If you go with a cruise, usually no visa needed for the destination countries. But you do need to make sure you can re-enter US when coming back.

My parents just back from Royal Carribean Bahamas cruise. They have mutiple entry to US visa. No Bahamas visa required.
