在dealer买到有问题的车怎么办？我在dealer哪里买了辆变速箱有问题的车，后来协商之后他说可以帮我换台雪佛兰但已经跑了15万miles，因为已经签合同了，所以没办法，请问大家我有别的途径可以维护我的利益吗？

真的吗？如果他不退怎么办？call警察？那个law有没有规定多长时间内不能退的？距离我付款已经1个多星期了，是不是我跟dealer说according to lemon law，u should give me full refund if i return the used car？

!st is the dealer a franchise dealer or an independent dealer.
Franchise dealer are more likely to help you to avoid bad press.
Talk to the general manager of the franchise dealer.
If it is a independent dealership talk to the owner if he or her cares about there reputation they may help you out if not fix it totally.
2nd did you have the car checked out before you purchased it?.
All used cars are sold as is, unless you purchased a warranty or a service contract.
These are your best options.
Because Georgia laws says you drive it over the curb it is your auto and your problem.
Last if you finance the auto sometimes they have a way of getting the dealer to do things, especially if the contract hasn't been completed.

is dealer who has many used cars an independent? they said they won't fix it, but they will let their maintenance to check it and find out the specific problem after ten day, because their repairman is out of town. i don't know anything about car, so i ask my roommate's boyfriend come with me, and he said he just helped his sister buy a car lately, so i believe in him. he said ok, then i bought it. the problems happen after two days when i bought it, so sad.
now they told me all they can do is change the blue Chevrolet which has run 150000 miles to me, because that is the only same price with the car that i m not satisfied.

Yes they are an independent dealership.
You may want to have the car checked by another mechanic.
Knowledge is power.
If they knew it was bad, you can file a complaint with the used car board and make there life bad.
Also file a report with the better business bureau.
It will give them a bad name.
If you know what is wrong they repair it for just parts.
Or if your repair shop can do it that might be best.
I know this is after the fact, always pay to have your car checked by a certified mechanic.

ty for your advice so much. yep, that was the worst experience buying a used car, but it is also the best experience i have .i learnt a lot from this, so i will be more careful buying a car next time. Never too late too learn,right.They said they will give me a call when they are ready to change the Chevrolet to me. I hope this car's engine and transmission are in good condition.I am still waiting for their call. if they don't call me tomorrow, i will go to ask them.
