You better stay home do self study. Atlanta has way too many Chinese God believers. One more will crash the backbone of God.

You need to have a Study Bible which provides a lot of historic, cultural, and other information. But the best place to study Bible is in a church that you'd like to go. Find one is not an easy job. May God bless you and the Holy Spirit be with you.  

Don't expect that you can understand everything just from context, or why do we have theologists? Churches? But one thing you can do is to compare the Chinese history with Jew's, why they failed and why we failed? Or Why they succeed and why we succeed?

My friend told me about two words to describe Old Testament: Sin and Repent. Do you know the Hebrew meaning of Sin? It's more difficult to understand New Testament without outside input.

So if you are good at English, then go to English Bible Study class on Sunday is the easiest way. If you want Chinese Bible study class, visit www.accc.org (Tucker, GA).
