tenant and landlord

Hi,
My tenant didn't pay rent and I won the case in Forsyth Small Court. It's a little over $2100. I have a check copy of the tenant's security deposit when the tenant just moved in my rent house. Can I directly go to that bank to ask for the money? Someone told me that I need to hire a lawyer. But that will cost more than what I am owed.
How could I collect the money?
