Short sale normally will not result in real sale. The underline is whether Bank has agreed with the listing price. If not, the ture pupose of the short sale is to solicit offer.

So, do not get too excited.

I am an agent. I know most of short sale would not result in a real sale. You may not get any response for a half of year after you sign your contract. You will have to be patient and can wait. Meanwhile, you may not be able to get out easily once you sign the contract.
