Our client’s Web Development team is seeking a candidate that has experience building full stack web applications. The candidate will assist with development and maintenance on the corporate web site and its related applications.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Our client development group is a fast moving environment where ideas need to be communicated concisely and effectively. The candidate must also be team player that also can work independently, escalating issues when appropriate. Our team is a fluid team that works well together and can take constructive criticism in the spirit of improving software quality.

Requirements
3+ years web development experience using Java 5+
3+ years of serious Javascript, CSS, and HTML5
Experience with at least one MVC action-based web framework (Spring MVC/Struts/Stripes)
Experince with one ORM framework such as Hibernate, iBatis, etc
Experience with SQL
Experience with jQuery
Knowledge of unix based operating systems
Responsibilities
Follow team guidelines for quality and consistency within the design and development phases of the application(s)
Provide support for production applications
Provide application support during maintenance windows
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications
Works well in a team environment
Preferred skills
A good understanding of REST design concepts
