One problem for this picture is that the background status is just in the middle of those three boys. If I took this one with full thought -- it is usually hard to do so, I would shift my angle a little bit to the left or right.

Thanks for the details. it seemed that the three boys were jumping. was the jumping for real? or some sorts of technique as you mentioned to reach the artificial effects, Would you elaborate a little detail on this? I appreciated your insights.

That would be perfect if you could provide the step by step instructions per NIKON D90 config.

Thanks for the explanation to others. I took this photo by chance during our family vacation trip. You were right, if the I could move left or right take from an angle it would be much better, however, I did not have the time to do so. We were walking by as those boys jump/pose for the girls(they were all tourists too), I only had time to get down on the floor and push down my shutter once.  Luckily I got one and this is the only one.  我只拍到这么个瞬间，好与坏也就这么一张（wished I could move left or right, wished there were different direction lighting too,wished I used a better technique....wished....) 有人说摄影是一种遗憾的艺术， 大概就是这个意思。不过，布列松说摄影（确切的说是人文摄影）的要决是“决定性瞬间”，所以咱就照猫画虎学来三脚两手，抓了个”瞬间“，至于“决定：不“决定”，要看大家评了，学的不好的话，我继续努力！

这幅照片是抓拍的，boys were jumping was real and girls on the ground took photo were real too, 我是路过看见，躺地上抓拍下来的，就拍到这么一张。 至于技巧，也没啥难度，快门速度稍微快点就能freeze action, 这张照片的快门速多是1/400", 但镜头光角是17mm， 中长焦>50mm的话，快门速度就要再快点。

补充一点： 一般跳跃的动作在最高点都有个短暂的停顿，如果在这个时候嗯下快门，快门速度并不需要很高，快于1/125"就能freeze动作。 如果光线允许的话，保险点，还是要设定高点：  >= 1／400” .
