I am very new in Real Estate and would like to get some opinion on the following :
1. I am a real estate agent
2. Bought a house and did remodelling, and then sold in a couple of month. The house was not marked 'sold as is' and buyer had 5 day inspecition period.
3. It's about one month now after closing, and the buyer's agent sent me an email and claim that the buyer "complain that the heat valve in the attic one is not working" and ask "if the one there is new or it is the right one.". And ask if I can help.
As far as I know, everything was working fine before closing, and I have no clue 'if the one in the attic is new or it is a right one'. Even it is not working now as the buyer complained, it's not a 'known defect'.
I would like to get some info on how to handle this situation before sending out any email to buyer's agent. |
