竞选快讯：林怡正现在有两位竞选对手

九月二日是候选人注册的最后一天，所有候选人都正式亮相了。我们所在的Post 2共有两位竞争者，Chris Coughlin 和Todd Burkhalter（www.toddforga.com）。 由于我们所在的Post2是一个被空缺的位置，选举分成两个任期，一个是从11月4日到12月底只有两个月的小任期，另一个是从2016开始的4年新任 期。Jay可以同时选两个任期但决定只选4年新任期。其他两个候选人（Chris和Todd）同时选两个任期。另外一个印度裔候选人ArunMisra只 选小任期跟我们没有竞争。

Nazeera Dawood所在Post 5也共有三位候选人，包括另外一位女士，和一位西班牙裔男士。

另外两个Post竞选连任的是Bob Gary和Steve Broadbent。Bob没有对手，Steve有一个竞争对手。


在今晚的一个会议上四位相互之间完全不竞争的候选人整好碰到了一起。第一位是Steve，大家应该能猜出其他三位的名字。

好运没有了，留下的只有艰苦的工作。我们目前当务之急是调动大家注册选举。许多华人都还从来没有注册过选举。注册的截至日期是10月5日。注册网站mvp (my voting page)可以通过下列简单链接进入：mvp.jaylin.us

Chris Coughlin's Action Plan for Johns Creek
Reduce millage rate by 8-12% over 4 year term depending on inflation/deflation
Perform cost-benefit analyses on all line items in departmental budgets to identify significant sources of waste. Will work to reduce expenditures by 6‐10% over 4 year term through waste analyses.
Allocate unassigned governmental funds ($54+ million) to high priority capital improvements (aka roads and parks) to reduce traffic congestion now.
Set the precedent to not spend obscene amounts of money on elections. While other past and current candidates for Johns Creek city council have spent upwards of $100,000, Chris has signed the affidavit to not spend over $2,500 believing a substantive platform means more to the citizens of Johns Creek than being inundated with signs, robo calls, and direct mailers.
Cut business and occupation taxes by 25% to ensure Johns Creek is competitive with its neighboring cities. Johns Creek currently has the highest business taxes in the North Fulton area and reducing the business taxes will help local and small businesses remain competitive in this area.

Chris Coughlin was raised in Georgia and graduated as valedictorian from Alexander High School. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from UGA (obligatory - Go Dawgs!) and a Master of Science degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Valdosta State University. While in grad school, Chris met his beautiful wife, Nicole. Chris and Nicole moved to North Fulton for work and, 2 years later, decided that Johns Creek was the vibrant community where they would start a family. A dog named Sawyer (2010), a boy named Luke (2012), and a to-be-named little girl (expecting August 2015) have all joined the Coughlin family startup.

Chris Coughlin currently works as a Senior Research Scientist at a public company. Chris is active in the community as a volunteer, involved with North Point Community Church's small group married groups ministry, coaches his son's soccer team, and attends civic engagements (e.g., city council meetings).

yes, this is possible too. otherwise, the rivals can mention things in teem & point to some person in team instead of candidate himself.

老夫请长点自知之明吧。老钱即使有任何错误（谁没有？），但他支持民主制度，这是底线。但如果对方指出团队里有你这种为共产专制和独裁者歌功颂德的，那将是对候选人的致命一击。别忘了，这里是美国。

我举个不恰当的比喻，哈哈：朱镕基手下的贪官行长不代表朱镕基本人的清廉形象，一个理。

求同存异，华裔需要空前的团结才能胜出，目前情况不 容乐观呀，白人🈶10000张选票，4000张是常态。即使两位白人平分后，总数也是可怕的。
