看了北航六十周年视频，非常激动，振奋，受鼓舞！

透过北航六十年的历史，展现了新中国的航空发展史，展现了从五十年代初中国的航空航天工业从无到有，发展到今天有自己的高性能战斗机，卫星，能发射载人飞船，能成为世界少有的几个国家掌握如此水平的航空航天技术的历史。北航和北航人在这一伟大历史成就过程中做出了巨大的贡献！非常为北航母校和校友们的成就感到骄傲！

这部视频，也从一个角度展现了中国科技人员的拼搏奋斗的精神，非常振奋人心！向他们致以十二万分的敬意！

I cried when I was watching 北航六十周年视频.

Besides its glory, 北航 has experienced 3 periods of hardship:
1. Its startup time (1952-->1956) --- when started from nothing;
2. The "cultural revolution" time (1966-->1976) --- when it stopped running as a true university;
3. The "军转民" time (1983-->1995) --- when it lost its Aerospace/Military focus. (视频 does not mention this event)

Nobody even mention how expensive the running cost has been especially in the time when most people in the nation were under starvation and poverty.

I believe 北航 has great potential and there are more glories yet to come.
