The point I try to make is "Never think we are equal citizen here. Never.".
Look around, in a good sized company, who get's credit, who does the work, who gets promotion.
Look at percentage of asian senior managers  ?
Look at percentage of asian board directors  ?
We are second class citizens. Will always be.

That's more like it - if you want to talk about discrimination, there is no need to go to the level of eligibility of being president.  However, I want to point out that at least in U.S., racial (gender, age, ....) discrimation is not officially sanctioned as in China.  

There are other barriers such as culture for Chinese Americans to overcome.  But at least, the law is with us.  In this regard, ordinary Chinese are treated better in U.S. than they are in China, ironically.

There are indeed discrimination against us.  However, I also dont think we should not always blame the society for our own ills.  For example, there are flaws in traditional Chinese culture that are not very helpful for a Chinese to get to top position.  Chinese are typically excellent individual contributors, but not great leaders.  But things are changing for the better.  Look at the blacks, they were in a worse situation - they were slaves!  But look at who's the president now.  Numerous Chinese Americans are taking the key leadership positions in many areas.  Things take time and I am very hopeful.  

What's the point of living a hopeless life?

反而到了美国这样相对宽松法制保护个人权利的社会，那些在中国饱受过歧视的人一下子想找个地方发泄，抱着可怜西西受害者心态抱屈含冤，无病呻吟而已，不必理会，有条件看看心理咨询师倒是个好选择。

美国总统要求必须在美国出生，很正常，这是保证他/她可以忠诚于美国利益的前提之一，谈不上歧视。美国总统还有年龄限制，保证他/她有足够成熟的心智领导国家，总不能说是年龄歧视吧？

我也一直奇怪， 有些中国人在美国有很多年了， 可一提到美国就咬牙切齿， 真不明白是一个什么心态。 就算是敌营十八年的地下工作者， 也有凯旋回国的机会吧， 他们倒好， 被自己人卖给美国了。
