1. 教练不一定要比学生打得好或积分高才能当教练，这是很多运动中的事实。
2. 从一个教练换到另一个教练，不管前后教练水平高低，要重新改动作是很常见的。

我认识常杰多年，也是从打球开始。他是华人里玩球的高手和极度健谈者，我和儿子总是在各种比赛时见到他并和他有很多交流，他也经常在比赛时志愿为儿子提供场边指导。他对乒乓球的热爱，着迷，钻研和精通历来令我起敬，说他是儿子的启蒙者和良师益友毫不为过。 他开始教球是不太久以前的事，儿子在杨教练来之前跟他练过半年多的时间。他对儿子的影响不仅是在球技，更是在于对参与这项运动的很多观点。打球不只是为得奖牌，拿名次，他告诉我，从小系统地参加一项体育运动并在正统艰苦的环境下训练过的孩子，Mentally 都会非常tough,  终身都会受益。在他的影响下，我把儿子几个暑假都送回中国的训练营地，周围一个人也不认识，其结果不仅球技长进，更重要的是在磨练意志不怕苦，迅速适应新环境，广泛结交新朋友，学习中文及文化等方面都有相当大的收益， 成为儿子人生里的宝贵经历。

我也是参与把杨教练朱教练鼓动到亚特兰大来的家长之一。因为在此前，亚城确实没有中国来的专业教练。 杨教练朱教练的到来是儿子的福气，也是亚城乒乓爱好者的福音。带儿子打球多年，深感同龄的球友不够，这对孩子提高球技，增加兴趣都是一个很大的障碍。杨，朱教练来之后，亚城打球的孩子数量成倍增加， 水平明显提高。球多半还是一对一教的，打球的人也不能只跟一个对手来回练习，所以一个城市里多一些教练陪练，不同程度，不同风格的，对行业的发展是必要的，是大好事，对各位教练也只有正面作用，而无负面影响。打球的人多了，气氛浓厚了，大家的事业都更加红火。所以两个教练之间没有利益冲突。希望旁观的人们或是家长也不要去激发这种矛盾。让我们都来爱护孩子，爱护教练，爱护乒乓运动，让亚城多一个为孩子健康成长的空间，多一片为社区健身娱乐的场所。

We need a good competition between coaches in Atlanta. Because we have no competition, even we have many kids now learn tt, thanks to coach yang, the tt level still very low as compared to other states. As parents, we pay the $ for training year after year, we expect to get good results. A good competition is good for our kids to learn tt.

First of all, I just want to extend to my sincere thanks to this Pingpong Mom, because you offered me a chance to know your wonderful son and your family; because you gave me an opportunity to promote the sport; because you let me grow as your son improves in many aspects of his life.

Secondly, I would like to say that I respect all coaches: professionals or amateurs, players, parents who have knowledge of the sport, love of the sport, support the sport, and show respect to others. I respect choices among coaches that parents/players picked. Without concerted efforts from all fields, we would have not seen the repaid growth of the sport among all walks of life in the US.

I totally agree with what you said that we shall put all our efforts together to create a healthy, harmonious table tennis environment for all the sport lovers in our community.

I have a question for you. Since you volunteer coaching for kids, why just you volunteer coaching in coach yang' club? I am sure you will learn something from coach yang and coach yang will be happy to have you. Happy Chinese new year to you too.

希望3楼以后有事说事，不要挑起事端，更不要无端夸张，什么世界冠军，美国队教练，弄清楚了再说，大家洗洗睡了，洗过的，就不用再洗了。
