My 12 hours non- stop adventure along 85/75, 400 is not much better than yours. It is a real test of human endurance, both mentally and physically. I was confused when I turned off 85, onto 400. All of sudden, I was the only one off 85. The ramp was steep and empty ,and I did not know what was going on ahead of me. While I was waiting, a car behind me moving this way. I thought to myself, if this guy would go this way, I would follow. I was very cautious and kept some distance from that car. It turned out not that bad until I approached North ridge exit. The traffic was standstill. There were a lot of drivers drove on the emergency lane and blocked police cars. Not all people were considerate, a lot of them were bad. When I got close to Holcomb, I saw quite a few stranded 18-Wheeler in the middle of road. Those monsters are the devils. When I got off 400, I was confused again. There were barely a car around. It seemed that people were long gone all of sudden again. Alpharetta/Milton seemed a ghost town to me. Maybe all the drivers evaporated... |
