my old Emerson 27's CRT TV has worked more than 15 years. I gave it to a Mexican 4 years ago. It is still working now. Bought this one because of Black Friday. It is real BLACK now but it is OK as I used the credit card in purchasing which doubled the warranty periods. It will cost me nothing but I just want to share that new Emerson is very BAD with Chinese community. googling the net, you will get a lot of complaints on no-power or "can not turned on". Several other TVs are fine in my home. Emerson used a cheap capacitor to protect the power surge or poor design. I can fix it myself if I plan to spend some times. I will not. In last July, I had two dryer went bad. One is GE within a year of the purchase, another is whirlpool which is 1 and half a year old. The whirlpool one is out of regular warranty but CC doubled the warranty to 2 years. Can you believe that two new dryers broken almost same time(2 days difference).?The possibility is extreme low for that to happen. It had a long story which turned out that I made $200 profit on whirlpool Dryer. ..... :-) |
