我Email地址受法律保护吗？

今天收到一个来自Yao Chen的Email是有关法轮功在华盛顿游行的事。我没有提供我的Email地址给任何法轮功的成员。他们如何得到我的Email地址的？就是他们有我的Email地址，可以随便的发大量的法轮功的照片到私人Email地址里吗？我想得到法律咨询。没有别的意思。如果答复是不允许的。那么以后这种事情就不要再发生了。无论来自何种组织，没有个人的授权，我认为这种行为都是不允许的。

at least you can report it as spam email. I am sure if enough people report it, your email provider could block it.

没办法，这就像你家的地址一样，谁都可以寄垃圾邮件。市场上有大量买卖Email的公司，每天做Email marketing，也有很多华人靠着这种公司养家活口，朋友，包容一些吧，不想看就直接delete，要不给spam也行。

Are you kidding? I receive tons of spam email and junk mail. There is no such law to protect us from receiving all kinds of email. Some of them could contain virus. One days' email could take your whole life to sue and catch them. Do you think it is necessary? Unless you were the member of Shanghai Association, Yao found your email address from one of their leaked email. All members' email address were exposed at that time and you could sue the Shanghai Association for their wrong doing. BTW, Yao is a member of the Shanghai Association too. It is not that difficult to find her.

我每天收到不少不知哪里来的email，大部分直接删掉。

我的email是yahoo。它有个Spam过滤器，可以放500个email地址。常给我送垃圾信的，我就把它放到Spam过滤器中。这样，我就一点也看不到那些垃圾信了。这不，今天早上又有下面的这些email被我放到Spam过滤器中了：

TigerDirect.com 是全美前五名的网购店，你把它Spam了，下次如果你向它买东西，连receipt都收不到了。我一般是先unsubscribe，如果无效，再Spam。

这和信箱里收到垃圾邮件是一样的性质。
删除或spam它，实在不行，我的看法，回邮警告留证，如继续发生，再寻求法律帮助。

Never ever do "回邮警告留证" .. This will confirm your email address with them. They will sell your address to even more people. Never try to unsub too, it is the same reason.

呵呵吓人，不过有道理，学习了
其实spam, 然后定期select all, delete all, 还是蛮简单的，我是一直这么做的，不费神
