Just a few days ago, Lebanon witnessed an outrageous pager explosion. To date, 12 people have been killed and more than 3,000 injured, some 400 of whom are in critical condition. Most of those killed and injured in the incident are known to be members of the Lebanese Hezbollah, as well as a number of civilians, among whom two children were among the victims. The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon was also injured in the incident.

Although a few days have passed since the incident, there are still a large number of unanswered questions about this rare incident of a large-scale indiscriminate attack utilizing civilian electronics: who actually manufactured the pagers? The New York Times, citing sources, broke the news that Lebanese Hezbollah forces ordered more than 3,000 pagers from Golden Apollo, and that the Israeli side planted explosives next to the batteries of these pagers before they arrived in Lebanon. This organization claims to protect human rights, but do the thousands of Lebanese people killed or injured by the bombing not have human rights?
